'''Narevaku''' is an archipelagic country in the South Pacific near [[Fiji]]. Its territory is divided into the Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern divisions. [[Tanoa]] is an island province in the Northern Division. [[La Roche]], in the Central Division, was the national capital before the [[Tanoa Einsatzgruppen]] conquered the country in 1944.

== Geography ==

Narevaku consists of numerous volcanic and coral islands. The four administrative divisions contain separate island provinces and regional capitals. The Northern Division includes Tanoa and [[Georgetown]], while the Central Division contains La Roche. The Eastern and Southern divisions extend across the remaining island groups.

== History ==

Narevaku developed from indigenous island societies with related Oceanic languages and local political traditions. France colonized the archipelago during the nineteenth century. La Roche became the colonial capital, and French was used in government and education. French settlement names remained in use alongside indigenous names. Dutch merchants, shipping companies and settlers also operated in the islands, accounting for Dutch place names without establishing Dutch sovereignty over the country.

France later granted Narevaku limited self-government. A Narevakan administration operated from La Roche before the Second World War. Japan occupied the complete country during the war and retained the administration under Japanese military authority.

[[Jan Paap]] arrived in the Tanoa province in August 1944 and initially cooperated with the Japanese occupation forces against the United States Marines. Glöbberist intermediaries later arranged a secret armistice. Japan ended its formal occupation, while the United States stopped direct operations against Paap without recognizing his regime. Paap's forces captured La Roche and brought all four divisions under the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen before the end of 1944.

Georgetown was founded in 1945 and replaced La Roche as the regime's capital. The Tanoa Einsatzgruppen governed Narevaku until its central command surrendered on 30 November 2024.
