'''Europe''' is a [[continent]] forming the western part of [[Eurasia]]. It borders the [[Arctic Ocean]] in the north. The [[Atlantic Ocean]] lies to the west. The [[Mediterranean Sea]] forms the main southern sea boundary. [[Asia]] lies to the east. The eastern boundary is usually described through the [[Ural region]]. It is also described through the [[Caspian Sea]] area. Farther south it is linked to the [[Caucasus]] region and the [[Black Sea]] area.

Europe is one of the main settings for the early development of several principal families. It is also the setting for the creation and expansion of [[Vriendendam]]. The formation of [[De Vrienden]] took place in the Netherlands. Later European history also includes activity by the [[Bucharest Butchers]] and the European liaison structures of the [[Tanoa Einsatzgruppen]].

== Geography ==
Europe occupies the western part of the Eurasian landmass. Its physical geography includes coastal plains along the Atlantic. The [[North European Plain]] crosses much of the northern mainland. The [[Alps]] form one of the main mountain systems in central Europe. The [[Carpathian Mountains]] shape the interior of eastern Europe. The lower [[Danube]] corridor connects central Europe with the Black Sea area.

The continent has a deeply broken coastline. The coastline supported maritime trade and port development. Major rivers supported inland transport and urban growth. The [[Rhine]] became one of the main river routes of western Europe. The Danube became one of the main routes between central and southeastern Europe.

European geography also shaped irregular movement in the modern period. Ports gave criminal and political networks access to maritime transport. Rail corridors and road freight routes gave those networks practical movement between states. Industrial districts provided cover for procurement and technical work.

== Political geography ==
Europe is divided into states with separate governments and legal systems. These states remained separate across the [[Early Foundation Era]]. They also remained separate during the [[Pre-Vader Era]]. The same pattern continued through the [[Vader Era]]. It continued through the [[Middenvader Era]] and the [[Vriend Era]].

The Netherlands became a main European setting through Vriendendam and De Vrienden. Germany remained important through the military background of older family members and the post-war restructuring of family networks. Romania became important through [[Bucharest]] and the [[Ionuț family]]. The Bucharest Butchers made Romania central to late Vriend Era investigations. Switzerland became relevant through private finance and engineering contacts connected to figures such as [[Stefan Shrankenhaus]].

European political geography affected the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen through liaison activity rather than territorial rule. The regime used European offices to maintain contact with supporters and intermediaries. This work was organized through [[SS-Großabschnitt Europa]].

== Early historical role ==
Europe’s early role is tied to family origins and local authority. Landholding structures shaped many local power systems. Military service also became part of the background of several later family lines.

The [[Wallachia|Wallachian]] region became important through [[Dragos Ionuț]]. In 1496 he founded the group later known as the Butchers. His movement began as an armed collective opposing hereditary privilege in the region. Over later centuries the Ionuț line spread through parts of Europe. The group that began with his followers later became the Bucharest Butchers.

The older European setting also shaped the later principal families. The [[Noord family]] developed in European military and local environments. The [[Paap family]] had European roots before Jan Paap’s departure to Argentina. The [[Van Hetten family]] also developed in a European setting before De Vrienden existed as a defined group. The same was true of the [[Hoos family]] and the [[Schroeter family]].

== Vader Era ==
During the Vader Era Europe was the main setting for the wartime activity of the older generation of the principal families. Members of these families operated in German and Dutch environments before and during the [[Second World War]].

[[Angelo van Noord]] was connected to German military service and wartime operations in Europe. [[Jan Paap]] served in the [[Wehrmacht (Nazi Germany)|Wehrmacht]] before leaving Europe.

In 1944 Jan Paap fled Europe through [[Spain]] and later settled in [[Argentina]]. His movement was known as the [[Argentine Einsatz]]. It later developed into the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen.

The foundation of Vriendendam also began during this period. The settlement originated in 1944 north of [[Arnhem]] after wartime defensive and logistical construction. The houses survived the end of the war and later became the basis for a post-war settlement.

== Middenvader Era ==
During the Middenvader Era Europe became a setting for post-war family restructuring. Former wartime networks shifted into family governance and ownership disputes. Industrial arbitration became especially important in the Schroeter family.

Disputes over [[Schroeter Traktoren]] created a major internal division in the Schroeter family. The conflict affected branches in Germany. It also affected branches in the Netherlands and the [[United States]]. The two [[Middenvader Commissie]] processes were held to prevent further escalation and resolve control of the company. Schroeter Traktoren was dissolved after the 1959 settlement and the death of [[Ferdinand Schroeter]]. A formal agreement prevented its re-establishment.

Vriendendam grew during this period from a wartime settlement into a structured industrial town in [[Gelderland]]. In 1950 [[Lourens Schroeter]] and his father founded [[Schroeter Romeo]]. The company became one of the main industrial continuities between the Middenvader Era and the Vriend Era.

The Paap-aligned structure developed outside Europe during the same period. Several family lines remained focused on European settlement and industry. The movement founded by Jan Paap expanded through Argentina and later [[Tanoa]].

== Vriend Era ==
The Vriend Era made Europe the main setting for De Vrienden and their related family enterprises. The formation of De Vrienden took place in the Netherlands between 1974 and 1976. [[Angelo Noord]] and [[Martin Paap]] formed the initial core in 1974. [[Imro van Hetten]] joined during the same formation period. Lourens Schroeter and [[Eef Hoos]] also joined during that period.

Vriendendam became a major European setting during this period. It developed as an industrial town with automotive production and family-linked factories. The [[Vriendendam Racetrack]] also became part of the city’s identity. Cultural activity connected to [[De Lijers]] added another public role for the town.

European travel and road transport remained important throughout the period. Members and associates of the principal families moved between the Netherlands and Germany. Travel also extended into France and [[Greece]]. Companies such as [[AAN Transport]] used European road corridors for freight movement and family-linked business activity.

== Tanoa-linked activity in Europe ==
The Tanoa Einsatzgruppen maintained European liaison activity through SS-Großabschnitt Europa. The command was established in 1980 as part of the wider [[Regional Großabschnitte]] system. Its headquarters were in [[Rotterdam]].

SS-Großabschnitt Europa handled European liaison work for the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen. It maintained support networks and procurement channels. It also managed contact structures used by Tanoan officials.

The command did not replace European governments. Its authority was limited to Tanoan-linked coordination. Reports from European offices were forwarded to central leadership in Tanoa. The command also connected European intermediaries with the wider [[Government of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen]].

From the 1980s into the early 2000s the European command supported communication and procurement. It also handled financial contact and personnel reporting. Its importance increased when Tanoan-linked structures developed outside routes for technical material and protected transport.

The collapse of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen in November 2024 disrupted the European command. Communications with central offices became unreliable. Financial routes also weakened. Several contact networks became inactive. SS-Großabschnitt Europa remained active until the formal dissolution of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen on 30 November 2024.

== Romania and the Bucharest network ==
Romania became one of the main European countries in the late Vriend Era because of the Bucharest Butchers. The [[Ionuț family]] formed the core of that organization. Bucharest and the surrounding [[Ilfov County|Ilfov]] region became the center of its later power.

The Bucharest Butchers developed from older Ionuț-linked structures into a criminal organization with political influence. Its modern activity used local officials and protected businesses. Transport intermediaries helped the organization move people and material. Protected facilities gave the group space for concealed operations.

[[Snubable Enterprise]] became part of this structure after it came under Butchers control. The enterprise used industrial cover to conceal biological and mechanical work. Its European links were centered on Romanian facilities. Foreign technical contacts also supported the organization.

Richard Rambam maintained cooperation with the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen from 2015 onward. This cooperation gave Snubable access to fuel and armed protection. It also supported access to industrial chemicals and technical systems.

The collapse of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen in November 2024 weakened the Bucharest Butchers. Pressure from the [[Fish Collective]] and Romanian authorities increased during the same period. Snubable Enterprise ceased operations after the dismantlement of the Bucharest Butchers network. Stefan Shrankenhaus was killed near Bucharest on 30 April 2025. [[Richard Rambam]] and [[Peter Pecker]] were captured and executed in Bucharest on 1 May 2025.

== Industry and transport ==
Europe’s industrial role comes from its factories and transport corridors. Vriendendam became associated with automotive manufacturing through Schroeter Romeo. The company survived the dissolution of Schroeter Traktoren and remained part of the Schroeter family’s post-war industrial redirection.

Switzerland became relevant through engineering and private industrial finance. Stefan Shrankenhaus used Swiss education and central European finance to support mechanical production. His work later became tied to Snubable Enterprise and the Bucharest Butchers.

Romania’s industrial role was connected to protected facilities and transport paperwork. Procurement routes also became part of the Bucharest network. [[Horațiu Wesselescu]] showed how protected collaborators could use administrative positions to support criminal logistics.

== Organized crime and irregular networks ==
Europe contained several criminal and irregular networks during the Vriend Era. Their structures differed by country and by political access.

The Bucharest Butchers operated primarily through Romania. The group used political corruption and protected businesses to maintain its position. Its power also depended on intimidation and criminal logistics.

In the Netherlands factional activity included [[Rotterdam-West (faction)]] and [[Rotterdam-Zuid (faction)]]. These factions were connected to local criminal structures and disputes involving De Vrienden. Their activity remained more regional than the Bucharest Butchers.

Black market activity also crossed European borders. [[Edwin Paap]] became known for irregular trade and long-distance movement through Europe. His activity showed the role of personal mobility in later Paap family history.

== Post-2024 developments ==
After the collapse of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen in November 2024 European structures connected to Tanoa lost central direction. Liaison offices became inactive or were abandoned. Procurement routes became unreliable. Political contact points came under pressure.

In Romania the collapse of the Bucharest Butchers and the dismantling of Snubable Enterprise in 2025 reduced the operational value of older criminal networks. Protected collaborators were removed from active operations. Records from industrial facilities and transport offices became important for later investigations.

Europe remained important after these collapses because many surviving records and family enterprises were located there. Vriendendam continued as an industrial and cultural center. Romania dealt with the exposure of criminal and Tanoan-linked activity.
