== Early life and family ==
Emiel Noord was born in [[Rotterdam]], [[Netherlands]], on 12 March 1997. He grew up within the Noord family, where administration and written recordkeeping formed part of family life. The family also maintained an internal hierarchy.

His father, Angelo Noord, was the first member of [[De Vrienden]] and maintained records concerning the group and its five principal families.<ref name="angelo-noord"/> Emiel's upbringing placed him within the Noord family's documentation practices and the wider family network formed through De Vrienden.

Emiel's siblings are [[Eva Noord]] and [[Angelo Martin Zuid]]. Angelo Martin was born Angelo Martin Noord before changing his surname in 2021.<ref name="angelo-martin-family"/><ref name="angelo-martin-name"/> Emiel remained within the Noord family identity and its northern family structure. He lives in Rotterdam and maintains a private role within Angelo Noord's immediate family.
