== Life ==

Buddycock was raised in a [[Buddhism|Buddhist]] household but did not practise the religion. During primary school, classmates frequently called him ''Pusface'' because of his birth surname. The repeated bullying led him to hate his birth name and himself. During a lesson in Year 4 in late 1997, he lowered his trousers and stood up. He then urinated across the classroom floor. In 2005, aged 16, Buddycock began using online forums whose members described themselves as ''losers''. He used the username ''Buddycock'', marking his first use of the name.

In 2008, aged 19, Buddycock moved out of his family home. He bought a storage container using money he had stolen from homeless people and began living inside it. He abandoned the container in 2009 after turning 20. Its walls were smeared with feces, and the furniture inside had begun to rot. Buddycock had taken the furniture from a Wiltshire Council household recycling centre after residents left it there for disposal.

Later in 2009, Buddycock began working as a parcel delivery driver. He often arrived barefoot and worked without shoes inside the depot. When the depot manager ordered him to wear footwear, Buddycock threatened him. Management allowed him to continue working barefoot because he was one of the depot's fastest delivery drivers. Vans assigned to him were frequently returned smelling of urine and with stained interiors. He received repeated speeding fines but was never disqualified from driving.

On 18 June 2014, Buddycock changed his name by deed poll from Garrick Puddlepus to Ggguugggg Behhhhh Bbbbbubbbb Buff Buddycock. The new name incorporated the username he had used since 2005. He wanted to abandon his former identity and believed that the new name represented him more accurately. On 14 March 2016, Buddycock was diagnosed with severe bilateral [[Iridocyclitis|iridocyclitis]]. The inflammation caused eye pain and intense sensitivity to light. His vision became blurred, preventing him from driving. He lost his parcel delivery job in May 2016. Treatment controlled the inflammation, although his right eye retained permanently reduced vision.
