== History ==

Before 1970, Bucharest Butchers members transported weapons when individual assignments required it. The [[Tudor family]] joined the organization in 1970 and placed its existing transport network under Bucharest Butchers control.<ref name="butchers-transformation"/> On 12 September, [[Oskar Dirlewanger]] established Curier as a dedicated role for drivers responsible for firearms deliveries. Members of the Tudor transport network received the first assignments under the new structure.

The role continued as the organization established additional storage properties and expanded its routes outside Romania. Curieri carried weapons between Bucharest Butchers properties within [[Bucharest]], while selected assignments supported international shipments. The role ceased to operate when the remaining command structure collapsed in May 2025.<ref name="butchers-downfall"/>
