== Geography == Snagov is located in the northern part of Ilfov County. The commune lies in a lowland area shaped by Lake Snagov, village land, forested areas, local roads, and residential development connected to the growth of Bucharest. The commune is close to other northern Ilfov localities, including [[Moara Vlăsiei]], Gruiu, Ciolpani, Balotești, and Periș. It forms part of the rural and suburban belt north of Bucharest, where older villages stand alongside newer housing and local service areas.
