== History == === Early Regional Structure === Prior to centralization, the territories now administered as Takistan consisted of independent emirates, tribal confederations, and Persian-influenced administrative zones across the Arabian Peninsula and southern Iran. Control was fragmented, with oil production, maritime trade routes, and regional alliances forming the basis of power. === Emergence of Jamaat A61 === In the early 21st century, Jamaat A61 emerged as a coordinating ideological and administrative authority. Initially structured as a unifying bloc among Gulf-aligned institutions, it expanded its influence through financial consolidation, intelligence coordination, and security integration. The United Arab Emirates developed into the primary operational center due to its strategic geographic location, advanced financial infrastructure, and maritime access. === Expansion into Persian Territories === Following consolidation of the Arabian Peninsula, Takistan extended supervisory influence south of Iran and into multiple Persian-aligned states. Governance in these territories operates through puppet administrations aligned with Jamaat A61 authority. === The Takistan War (2017โ2019) === In 2017, open conflict began involving Takistan, referred to as the Takistan War. The conflict involved resistance movements within Persian-aligned territories and rival regional factions challenging the authority of Jamaat A61. Members of De Vrienden โ including Angelo Noord, Martin Paap, Imro van Hetten, Lourens Schroeter, and Eef Hoos โ participated directly in the conflict. Throughout 2017 and 2018, armed engagements occurred across desert, mountain, and urban environments. In 2018, Martin Paap sustained a serious gunshot injury during armed confrontations and later recovered. Angelo Noord combined direct participation with ongoing documentation of events during the conflict period. In 2019, the war concluded following the signing of a neutrality agreement, marking the end of open hostilities and stabilizing Takistanโs authority structure. === Post-War Period === After 2019, Takistan operated as a fully consolidated emirate system: * Regional administrations report directly to central authority. * Military command structures were unified. * Intelligence and internal security systems were expanded. * Financial institutions were integrated under centralized oversight. Takistan currently maintains authority over the Arabian Peninsula, territories south of Iran, and aligned Persian administrations.
