== History ==

The Veneno Gruppen were established in 1978 during the structural expansion of the Bau-Einsatz. As construction and infrastructure projects increased, the regime created a dedicated division to manage chemical installations and experimental systems.

During the 1980s and 1990s, the unit expanded its operations beyond standard industrial chemical work. It became involved in the modification of hospitals, psychiatric institutions, and facilities for disabled persons, where sealed gas distribution systems were installed under the designation of “purification” or “sanitation” infrastructure.

By the early 2000s, the Veneno Gruppen had developed internal research programs focused on gas dispersal efficiency, containment systems, and chemical innovation. The division remained operational until the collapse of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen on 30 November 2024.
