== Early life ==
Walter Noord was born on 11 May 1964 in [[Rotterdam]], [[Netherlands]]. He grew up in Rotterdam together with his brother [[Luger Noord]].

During his youth he attended school in the Rotterdam area where he studied economics and basic administrative subjects. These studies later influenced his interest in documentation, records, and bureaucratic procedures.

As a teenager, Walter Noord spent much of his free time with Luger Noord. The two became known for a game they called ''Birth Certificate''. In this activity they would go to houses, ask residents to show their birth certificates, tear the documents apart, and then run away.

Walter Noord has also stated many times that he began drinking beer at the age of eleven. He often speaks about this period openly and describes it as the beginning of a long-standing habit that continued into adulthood.
