== Organization ==

The Amt für Ideologische Schulung was headquartered in [[Georgetown]], where it operated under the authority of the [[NSTAP]]. It was not an independent ministry and did not hold direct executive power. Its function was to produce, regulate, and supervise ideological education within the party and state structure.

The office was divided into internal sections responsible for curriculum preparation, instructor approval, youth instruction, party cadre training, and institutional coordination. These sections worked with regional party offices and administrative authorities to ensure that ideological instruction followed central party policy.

Regional instructors reported to local party branches, but their teaching material and certification were controlled by the central office. This gave the office influence over political training across different institutions without giving it direct command over police or military formations.
