== Transition under Eef Paap == In 1980, control of Ravi-Ta passed from Jan Paap to [[Eef Paap]]. In 2002, Eef Paap restructured Ipota. The forced labor system was ended, and the village area was converted into residential housing intended for visitors. These visitors included personal associates and high-ranking members connected to the island’s administration. The beach area continued to be known as Ipota Beach. Under Eef Paap, it became part of a restricted resort environment used for private stays.
