== Composition == Purified water formed the base of MAS-GE 1999. Sodium and chloride compounds established its osmotic balance. Potassium supported electrical activity in developing cells. Calcium and magnesium compounds supported muscular and skeletal development. Bicarbonate and phosphate compounds maintained the required pH. Albumin and synthetic colloids regulated the movement of water between the medium and developing tissue. Glucose supplied metabolic energy. Amino-acid solutions supported protein synthesis. Lipid emulsions supplied material for the formation of cell membranes. Vitamins and trace elements were added in low concentrations. Hormone analogues and growth-regulating proteins were adjusted according to the clone's stage of development. Snubable Enterprise restricted the exact concentrations to its biological production personnel.
