Reinhard married [[Mathilde Glöbbelhart]], who became part of the fortress household at [[Festung Glöbbelhart]]. The marriage strengthened the family’s control over the estate and its papers.

Reinhard and Mathilde had four children: [[Adelheid Glöbbelhart]], [[Johann Glöbbelhart]], [[Otto Glöbbelhart]], and [[Verena Glöbbelhart]].

Adelheid Glöbbelhart worked in household administration at Festung Glöbbelhart. She maintained family correspondence and private guest papers connected to early Glöbberian meetings.
