== Later life and death == Nostrini lived in Mendicino until 1803. He later moved to clerical housing near Cosenza Cathedral. He used the name Don Paolo in church records and family documents. Don Paolo Nostrini died at the Canonica di Santa Maria Assunta in Cosenza on 15 March 1833. He was 76 years old.
