Personal life
Nostrini married Maddalena Sorrenti in Salerno on 16 February 1814. Their first child, Elena Nostrini, was born on 6 December 1814. Their second child, Carlo Norte, was born on 22 March 1817 and later joined the northern branch under the Norte surname. Their third child, Ruggiero Nostrini, was born on 10 January 1821 and died on 18 October 1821.

The marriage broke down after a dispute over Sorrenti dowry papers and the transfer of coastal lease income. Maddalena Sorrenti left the Salerno household on 9 September 1824. They remained legally married but lived separately from that date.

Family measurements recorded Nostrini’s height as 1.79 m.
