== Role in development approvals ==
The council became important to development around northern Bucharest because Ilfov County contained industrial parcels, transport routes, utility corridors, and suburban construction sites outside the denser city core.<ref name="ilfov-sites"/>

On 18 August 2007, intermediaries connected to Snubable Enterprise secured a disused metal-processing factory between [[Balotești]] and [[Moara Vlăsiei]], north of Bucharest, in Ilfov County. The site was later developed into a restricted industrial and research complex connected to the Bucharest Butchers.<ref name="snubable-factory"/> Florin Ionuț's administrative support helped preserve land access, construction approvals, and utility arrangements after Pintăreanu's death.<ref name="florin-assumption"/>
