Birmingham appears in several pages connected to the [[Paap family]]. [[Johnnie Paap]] was born in Birmingham on 13 December 1959 and later moved to the Netherlands, where he became active in black market work in [[Amsterdam]] and [[Rotterdam]].<ref name="johnnie-paap"/>

[[Jim Michael Paap]] was born in Birmingham on 8 June 1973. He grew up with his brothers [[Edwin Paap]] and [[Ben Paap]] and later worked as a hotdog seller in the United Kingdom. His son, [[Derek Paap]], was born in Birmingham on 14 September 2003 and worked as a food courier for [[Unterfeast]] in the city.<ref name="jim-paap"/><ref name="derek-paap"/>

Derek Paap's criminal history included incidents in Birmingham. At the age of 17, he stole a police car after finding it unattended near the [[A38 Bristol Road]] in [[Selly Oak]]. He drove along Bristol Road, rolled the vehicle near the Selly Oak section of the route, ran from the scene, and was arrested later the same day.<ref name="derek-criminal-history"/>

Birmingham was also one of the cities used by [[Charlie Churchill]]'s drug empire. On 18 June 1986, Churchill placed regional distributors in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Liverpool, and Leeds.
