Editing Rotterdam-Zuid (faction) (section)

== External relations ==

Rotterdam-Zuid is aligned with Takistan under Jamaat A61 authority. Through this relationship, Takistan provides weapons, equipment, and support. Rotterdam-Zuid remains internally governed, but its access to heavier weapons and higher-level logistical backing depends on Takistani supply routes and approval from Takistan-linked authority.<ref name="takistan"/>

The faction also maintains contacts with Moroccan-linked networks in Belgium and Turkish-linked groups in Turkey. These contacts support recruitment, financial movement, and secondary supply channels, but they do not replace the faction's dependence on Takistan.<ref name="khalid"/>

The Belgian Moroccan connection is reflected through the [[El Berkani family]], which is active in Antwerp and Rotterdam-Zuid. Youssef El Berkani is the highest-ranking known member of the family and one of the senior figures in the faction alongside Angelo Zuid.<ref name="elberkani-family"/>
