== Later years ==

During the 2010s and early 2020s, the Großabschnitt Asien continued to operate as a regional command office within the [[Tanoa Einsatzgruppen]]. Its work remained centered on liaison activity, movement coordination, internal reporting, and administrative supervision of personnel assigned to Asian-linked networks.

The command also supported cooperation with other regional Großabschnitte. It maintained contact with [[SS-Großabschnitt Europa]] because of procurement and political channels, with [[SS-Großabschnitt Süd-Atlantik und Pazifik]] because of Pacific transport routes, and with [[SS-Großabschnitt Nord-Atlantik]] when personnel or equipment moved through wider international networks.

As the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen weakened in 2024, communication between the Asian command and the central leadership became less reliable. The breakdown of financial channels, transport links, and central authority limited the command's ability to operate. The Großabschnitt Asien remained active until the collapse of the [[Tanoa Einsatzgruppen]] in November 2024.
