== Relationship with the Amt für Regionale Politische Verwaltung ==

The [[Amt für Regionale Politische Verwaltung]] and the Regional Großabschnitte were closely connected but had different roles. The Amt was a central political office of the [[NSTAP]]. It supervised regional political administration and helped maintain ideological and administrative consistency across territories.

The Großabschnitte were regional command structures. They carried out practical administration, security coordination, and territorial supervision inside their assigned sectors. The Amt provided political oversight, while the Großabschnitte handled regional implementation.

This relationship allowed the regime to combine party supervision with command-based territorial control. The system tied regional commanders, civil administrators, and local political representatives into a single reporting structure connected to Georgetown.
