== Transfer of control in 2013 ==

In 2013, Andrei Ionuț ordered the consolidation of the Los Angeles branch. [[Petru Ionuț]] and [[Iakob Ionuț]] were sent to [[Hollywood]], [[Los Angeles]], to assume control of the structure originally developed by Mătăsăreanu.

Before the transfer was completed, Andrei ordered the removal of [[Larry Phillips Jr.]], whose continued presence was viewed as a problem because he had never been accepted as a formal member of the Bucharest Butchers. Iakob Ionuț entered Phillips' residence in Hollywood, overpowered him with a wire, and strangled him to death.

Mătăsăreanu did not remain in Los Angeles during the takeover. On the night before Petru and Iakob departed Romania, he secretly returned to [[Bucharest]], removing himself from the confrontation. After his departure, Petru took control of the California branch and turned it into the most profitable overseas structure controlled by the Bucharest Butchers.
