== Role within the regime ==

Within the [[Government of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen]], the Regional Großabschnitte formed the main territorial administration framework outside the central island structure. They allowed the regime to manage distant territories through large command sectors while preserving a centralized chain of authority.

The system supported the wider relationship between the [[Oberkommando der Tanoa Einsatzgruppen]], the [[Allgemeine SS]], the [[NSTAP]], and the government offices responsible for law, administration, population control, and political supervision.

The Großabschnitte were especially important in areas where the regime depended on local collaborators or subordinate administrations. In those areas, the regional command provided the connection between local authorities and the central state structure.
