Colacu is a village in Răcari, Dâmbovița County, Romania. It is located in southern Romania, northwest of Bucharest. Colacu was the birthplace of Richard Rambam and Peter Pecker. In the 1990s, Rambam and Pecker used sheds and farm buildings around the village for the first cloning work that later led to Snubable Enterprise. == Geography == Colacu is located in the Wallachian Plain in Dâmbovița County. The area around the village consists of agricultural land, local roads, farm buildings, and small workshop spaces. == History == Colacu developed as a rural settlement within the area administered by Răcari. In the late 20th century, it remained a small village with local agricultural and trade work. Richard Rambam and Peter Pecker grew up in Colacu during the 1980s and 1990s. They later used abandoned farm buildings near the village for their early cloning work. == Snubable Enterprise origins == In 1998, Richard Rambam and Peter Pecker cloned a stray dog in a shed near Colacu. This was the first successful cloning result connected to the group that became Snubable Enterprise. Jibbut Snagov, a member of the Bucharest Butchers, later gave money to Rambam and Pecker in exchange for cloned pigs. The money was used to buy additional laboratory equipment. Snubable Enterprise was formally structured in 1999. == People associated with Colacu == Richard Rambam was born in Colacu in 1977. He later became the main director of the A-Series cloning program and one of the central figures of Snubable Enterprise. Peter Pecker was born in Colacu in 1978. He grew up in the same village as Rambam and later became his assistant, researcher, and enforcer within Snubable Enterprise. Mircea Rambam, Richard Rambam's father, worked around Slatina, Colacu, and other parts of southern Romania as a structural ironworker. He gave Richard tools, metal parts, money, and early equipment before the formation of Snubable Enterprise. == See also == * Richard Rambam * Peter Pecker * Mircea Rambam * Snubable Enterprise * Bucharest Butchers * Răcari * Romania
