Jibbut Snagov (born Jibbut Ryabov; 17 March 1974 – 28 December 2024) was a Russian-born Romanian mass murderer and security chief inside Snubable Enterprise. He was also a member of the Bucharest Butchers. Snagov funded the early cloning work of Richard Rambam and Peter Pecker in 1999. He later controlled Snubable security and clone extermination. On 9 June 2014, he carried out the Hotel Rogganoid bombing, which killed 47 people. He also created Electric Cyanide and was one of the architects of California 2040. == Early life == Jibbut Snagov was born as Jibbut Ryabov in Nikolayevo-Darino, Kursk Oblast, Russia, on 17 March 1974. His family moved to Snagov, Romania, in late 1989, when he was 15 years old. The family later used the surname Snagov to fit into the town. His father, Sergei Ryabov, became known as Sergiu Snagov in Romania. He worked as a postman after the family settled in Snagov. Snagov became interested in nuclear physics while living in Romania. He was also interested in gases and liquids. In 1992, he saw members of the Bucharest Butchers shake down a man near Piața Obor in Bucharest. They left in an expensive car. The incident drew him toward the group. == Criminal activity == In 1993, Sergiu Snagov was fired from his postal job after his documents were checked. The family then faced removal from Romania. Jibbut Snagov began stealing from shops and selling the stolen goods on the street. On 4 August 1993, Snagov stole cigarette cartons and car radios from a storage room near Șoseaua Colentina. The goods belonged to Doru Tudor, a Bucharest Butchers runner and nephew of Mihail Tudor. Doru Tudor took him to Mihail Tudor on 11 August 1993. Mihail Tudor told Snagov to work for the Bucharest Butchers if he wanted his family to stay in Romania. Tudor stopped the removal case through his contacts. The family’s papers were fixed under the surname Snagov, and Jibbut Snagov joined the group in September 1993. In 1994, Doru Tudor put Snagov on collection work around Piața Obor and Colentina. By 1995, Snagov was working on loads moving through Băneasa, Otopeni, and the DN1 corridor. Snagov’s interest in gases and liquids made him useful to Mihail Tudor. On 17 May 1996, Tudor put him in charge of technical stock for the northern Bucharest Butchers. On 3 July 1998, Snagov became Tudor’s senior lieutenant for the northern route. In February 1999, Snagov funded Richard Rambam and Peter Pecker after their animal-cloning work began producing usable results. The money came from the northern route controlled by Snagov. His funding gave him authority inside Snubable Enterprise. He first handled protection work. He later controlled clone disposal. == Snubable Enterprise == Snagov remained a Bucharest Butchers figure during the early Snubable period. In 1999, he gave Rambam and Pecker money in exchange for cloned pigs. The payments helped them buy better equipment and continue the experiments that led to Snubable Enterprise. On 18 August 2007, Snagov was transferred into Snubable Enterprise full time after the organization secured the factory complex between Balotești and Moara Vlăsiei. He became head of security services. He also became head of clone extermination. From 2008 to 2012, Kaspar Othmar Barmettler served under Snagov in the unit used to kill rejected clones. In 2009, Snagov created the first internal version of Electric Cyanide. The substance was later used by Snubable Enterprise in clone termination. Snagov’s knowledge of gases and liquids made him the main figure behind its early use inside the facility. Snagov was a participant in Aktion Shrankenhaus in 2017. His role was tied to internal security before the deployment connected to the 2017 Slatina massacre. == Hotel Rogganoid bombing == On 9 June 2014, Snagov carried out the Hotel Rogganoid bombing at Hotel Rogganoid in Băneasa, Bucharest. The attack targeted the resort after Rasmus Rogganoid publicly advertised the R-Series clones working there. Snagov used hidden explosive charges brought into the resort through the service area. The first blast hit the lower service section and damaged the building's internal systems. The bombing destroyed Hotel Rogganoid and killed 47 people, including Rasmus Rogganoid and the R-Series clones working there. On 10 June 2014, Romanian police publicly described the destruction as a gas explosion. == California 2040 and 2024 plot == Snagov was one of the architects of California 2040. On 12 October 2021, he took part in the first planning memorandum for the project. His part focused on Snubable security methods. A revised California 2040 paper circulated on 14 January 2024. Snagov supported the revised plan because it would have moved Snubable methods into a larger underground facility in California. By mid-2024, Snagov had turned against the direction of Snubable leadership. On 24 June 2024, he prepared a plan to place Marku Ionuț, Florin Ionuț, Richard Rambam, and Peter Pecker in one section of the Snubable Enterprise main building. The section would then explode through a controlled gas leak. Snagov didn't carry out the plan. The likely reason was fear that he would be caught and tortured to death. The plan remained unfinished and was later found after Snubable Enterprise collapsed. == Personal life == Snagov had no wife or children. By 2024, he had become isolated. Notes found after his death showed that he could no longer handle who he had become. == Death == On 28 December 2024, Snagov sealed himself inside the living room of his house in Snagov and killed himself by cyanide gas exposure. His decomposing body was found on 6 May 2025, after the collapse of Snubable Enterprise and the Bucharest Butchers. The house contained papers connected to the abandoned 2024 plot. == See also == * Hotel Rogganoid bombing * Hotel Rogganoid * Rasmus Rogganoid * R-Series * Snubable Enterprise * Bucharest Butchers * Richard Rambam * Peter Pecker * Electric Cyanide * Aktion Shrankenhaus * California 2040 * Kaspar Othmar Barmettler * Doru Tudor * Mihail Tudor
