'''MAS-GE 1999''' (Romanian: ''Mediu amniotic sintetic pentru gestație extracorporală, formula 1999'') was a synthetic gestational medium developed by [[Richard Rambam]] and manufactured by [[Snubable Enterprise]]. It circulated through the incubation chambers used to produce the [[A-Series]] and [[R-Series]].

The medium maintained the liquid environment around a developing clone during accelerated growth. The incubation chambers maintained a temperature of approximately 37&nbsp;°C. Separate systems supplied oxygen and neural stimulation, while nutrient compounds were introduced in controlled cycles.<ref name="fabrication-process"/>

== Development ==

Rambam developed MAS-GE 1999 during the first Snubable human cloning experiments in 1999. These experiments used genetic material collected from [[Alexandru Ionuț]] and formed the basis of the A-Series.<ref name="snubable-origins"/>

The first batches were used in adult-sized incubators constructed with improvised laboratory equipment. Rambam adapted the formulation for the vertical incubation chambers introduced as Snubable Enterprise expanded its production system.

The MAS-GE designation came from the Romanian name of the medium. The number 1999 identified the year in which the formulation entered use.

Snubable Enterprise later standardized its preparation for factory production. On 16 April 2011, the company completed a western annex at its factory complex between [[Balotești]] and [[Moara Vlăsiei]]. The annex contained equipment for nutrient synthesis and synthetic amniotic fluid preparation.<ref name="factory-expansion"/>

== Composition ==

Purified water formed the base of MAS-GE 1999. Sodium and chloride compounds established its osmotic balance. Potassium supported electrical activity in developing cells. Calcium and magnesium compounds supported muscular and skeletal development.

Bicarbonate and phosphate compounds maintained the required pH. Albumin and synthetic colloids regulated the movement of water between the medium and developing tissue.

Glucose supplied metabolic energy. Amino-acid solutions supported protein synthesis. Lipid emulsions supplied material for the formation of cell membranes.

Vitamins and trace elements were added in low concentrations. Hormone analogues and growth-regulating proteins were adjusted according to the clone's stage of development. Snubable Enterprise restricted the exact concentrations to its biological production personnel.

== Incubation system ==

MAS-GE 1999 formed the liquid component of the standard Snubable incubation system. A developing clone remained submerged inside an adult-sized or vertical incubation chamber throughout physical maturation.<ref name="a-series-production"/>

Pumps circulated the medium continuously between the chamber and a conditioning unit. The unit maintained its temperature and corrected changes in pH. Electrolyte concentrations were adjusted as the developing body absorbed material from the solution.

Filters removed suspended biological material from the circulating medium. Part of the fluid was replaced when filtration and chemical correction could no longer maintain the required conditions.

The oxygen-injection system operated separately from the fluid circuit. Neural stimulation equipment supported neurological development during maturation. Under optimized factory conditions, the complete system could produce an adult-sized clone in approximately 14 days.<ref name="fabrication-process"/>

== Use in clone production ==

The A-Series was the first clone line to use MAS-GE 1999. Its clones were produced from genetic material taken from Alexandru Ionuț and formed the main Snubable production line.<ref name="a-series-production"/>

The R-Series used the same gestational medium and standard chamber system. Its clones were manufactured from [[Rasmus Rogganoid]] as a private client line. Production ran from 3 September 2011 until 28 November 2012.<ref name="r-series-creation"/>

Genetic identity came from the source material used for each series. MAS-GE 1999 provided the controlled fluid conditions required for development and could be used with either genetic line.

== Handling and disposal ==

MAS-GE 1999 was prepared in sealed batches and transferred to the incubation chambers through fixed fluid lines. Production personnel monitored its temperature and pH during each cycle. Electrolyte concentrations were corrected when required.

After extraction of a clone, the remaining medium contained metabolic waste and biological residue. It was removed from the chamber and transferred into the facility waste system. [[Septicsolution]] supported the removal of biological waste from Snubable production areas.<ref name="septicsolution-support"/>

Production of MAS-GE 1999 ended on 1 May 2025 when Snubable Enterprise ceased operating.<ref name="snubable-collapse"/>
