It covered the nineteenth century and the [[First World War]], ending before the generation later classified as the [[Vaders]] reached its main period of adulthood.<ref name="timeline-era"/>

The period saw major changes in the histories of the Nostrini and van Noord families. [[Glöbbery]] was founded in 1888, while [[Banca Dâmbovița]] was established in Bucharest in 1898.<ref name="globbery-founding"/><ref name="banca-founding"/>
