He owned [[Hotel Rogganoid]], a luxury resort at Strada Privighetorilor 41, and later commissioned the [[R-Series]] clone series from [[Snubable Enterprise]]. Rogganoid paid Snubable Enterprise €4.8 million in 2011 for the R-Series, which was made from him as the genetic source. The clones were moved into Hotel Rogganoid in 2013 and used as resort staff. His later decision to advertise them as part of the hotel made the resort a public problem for Snubable Enterprise. He was killed in the [[Hotel Rogganoid bombing]] on 9 June 2014. == Early life == Rasmus Rogganoid was born in [[Băneasa]], [[Bucharest]], [[Romania]], on 3 November 1968. He was the son of [[Rainer Rogganoid]] and [[Viorica Rogganoid]]. His brothers were [[Rolf Rogganoid]], [[Renat Rogganoid]], and [[Rikard Rogganoid]]. He grew up in northern Bucharest, where his family already owned land and buildings before the hotel project became the center of the Rogganoid name. On 18 June 1982, Rogganoid was arrested by Bucharest police after throwing a homemade slime-acid firecracker onto a circus act during a public performance. The device burst during the act and spread a large amount of slime over the performers and the stage. The slime was made from nasal mucus that Rogganoid had stored for several months. Because Rogganoid was thirteen years old, he was released into his family's custody after police questioning. His family paid for the damage and cleaning costs, and the case ended with a warning instead of a prison sentence. The incident remained part of his early reputation in Băneasa. == Education == Rogganoid attended Liceul Teoretic Jean Monnet in Bucharest. After finishing secondary school, he studied at the [[Bucharest University of Economic Studies]]. He graduated from the Faculty of Business and Tourism at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. His studies focused on hotel management, business administration, and tourism economics. == Career == Rogganoid began working in the Bucharest hotel sector in 1992. His early work involved private hotel administration, guest services, and resort finance. On 17 April 1998, he opened [[Hotel Rogganoid]] at Strada Privighetorilor 41 in [[Băneasa]]. The resort was built on the northern edge of Bucharest and used the Rogganoid name as its public identity. During the 2000s, Hotel Rogganoid became his main business. Rogganoid controlled the resort directly and developed it as a private luxury property with restricted guest access. By the time the R-Series clones arrived, Hotel Rogganoid was the family's most visible asset. Rolf remained tied to property management, Renat worked with guest arrangements, and Rikard worked around promotion, but ownership of the hotel stayed with Rasmus. == Connection to Snubable Enterprise == On 13 May 2011, Rogganoid paid [[Snubable Enterprise]] €4.8 million for the creation of the [[R-Series]]. The R-Series was a limited edition clone series made from Rogganoid as the genetic source. The clones were manufactured from 3 September 2011 to 28 November 2012. The R-Series clones were placed at Hotel Rogganoid on 12 January 2013. They worked as resort staff and handled the daily running of the hotel. Rogganoid broke his agreement with Snubable Enterprise on 4 March 2014 by advertising the R-Series clones as part of the resort. Snubable Enterprise did not want public attention on the clone series. By May 2014, visitors were coming to Hotel Rogganoid partly to see the clones working there. == Personal life == Rasmus Rogganoid was not married and had no children. He had a girlfriend during the later years of his life, but Hotel Rogganoid and the R-Series remained under his own control. His father, [[Rainer Rogganoid]], was a Bucharest property owner. His mother, [[Viorica Rogganoid]], handled accounts and internal records. His brothers [[Rolf Rogganoid]], [[Renat Rogganoid]], and [[Rikard Rogganoid]] each worked around different parts of the Rogganoid property and hotel activity. == Death == Rasmus Rogganoid died on 9 June 2014 during the [[Hotel Rogganoid bombing]]. The attack was carried out by [[Jibbut Snagov]] against Hotel Rogganoid and the R-Series clones working there. Rogganoid was on an upper floor when fire reached that section of the resort. The damaged lower structure gave way soon after, and heavy concrete from the collapsing upper floors fell onto him and killed him. When the site was cleared, only parts of his body were found. Romanian police publicly described the destruction of the hotel as a gas explosion on 10 June 2014. The public explanation did not identify Jibbut Snagov, Snubable Enterprise, or the R-Series clones as part of the incident. After the bombing, Jibbut Snagov also targeted Rogganoid's close family members. [[Viorica Rogganoid]], [[Rolf Rogganoid]], and [[Renat Rogganoid]] were shot and killed in [[Bucharest]] on 9 June 2014. [[Rikard Rogganoid]] was reported shot that day, but his body was not recovered; the family record treats him as killed on 9 June 2014. == See also == * [[Hotel Rogganoid]] * [[Hotel Rogganoid bombing]] * [[Rogganoid family]] * [[Rainer Rogganoid]] * [[Viorica Rogganoid]] * [[Rolf Rogganoid]] * [[Renat Rogganoid]] * [[Rikard Rogganoid]] * [[R-Series]] * [[Snubable Enterprise]] * [[Jibbut Snagov]] * [[Băneasa]] * [[Bucharest]] [[Category:Rogganoid family]] [[Category:Rogganoid family members]] [[Category:Hotel owners]] [[Category:Businesspeople]] [[Category:People]] [[Category:1968 births]] [[Category:2014 deaths]] [[Category:People from Bucharest]] [[Category:Romania]] [[Category:Vriend Era]]
