Francesco Nostrini was born on 19 May 1783 in [[Paola]], then part of [[Calabria Citra]] in the [[Kingdom of Naples]]. He belonged to the Tyrrhenian branch of the Nostrini family.<br />

Nostrini began private instruction in Paola on 3 October 1790. On 7 November 1795, he entered the [[Seminario arcivescovile di Cosenza]] as an external lay pupil. He left the seminary on 28 June 1799 and began notarial training under Antonio Greco in Paola on 16 September 1799. His training focused on coastal property deeds and inheritance papers.<br />

Nostrini entered branch service on 14 March 1803 as an assistant land agent for the Tyrrhenian branch. His work dealt with rent papers, coastal property claims, and branch correspondence sent between Paola and the senior household in [[Cosenza]].<br />

After the reforms in the [[Kingdom of Naples]] in 1806, the Nostrini household reviewed land papers and inheritance claims. On 17 August 1806, Nostrini was appointed ''procuratore del ramo tirrenico''.
