== Background ==
The Tanoa Einsatzgruppen was founded by [[Jan Paap]] in [[Argentina]] on 13 May 1944 and became a territorial dictatorship after Paap's expedition reached Tanoa on 9 August 1944. The regime's rule was based on military command, forced labor, confiscation of property, centralized financial control, population registration, surveillance, and punishment by security formations including the [[Allgemeine SS]].<ref name="history">''[[History of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen]]'', Vrienden Universe. Resistance grew out of occupation, forced labor, movement controls, land seizures, and security violence. In South America, opposition developed in areas brought under Tanoan influence, especially after the 1953 takeover of [[Patagonia]] and the 1965 annexation of Argentina. Later resistance also included internal dissidents, escaped laborers, informants, foreign supporters, and relatives of victims of Tanoan operations.

== Early native resistance ==
A major native resistance network emerged in eastern Tanoa in 1963. The network blocked roads, ambushed Einsatz soldiers, and limited regime control in jungle areas where Einsatz units had difficulty operating. The conflict included the assassination of Allgemeine SS general [[Rudolf Aziones]], which prompted a harsher response from the regime.

[[Jan Paap]] responded by expanding the use of the [[Dinosaurier-Truppen]], a military formation associated with the regime's biological and dinosaur programs. Dinosaurs were trained and deployed against native resistance fighters beginning in the mid-1960s. The campaign became known as the "Native Experiment". By 1974, the organized eastern resistance network had been broken, although local opposition to occupation and forced labor continued.

== Patagonian unrest ==
Resistance also occurred in South American territories controlled by the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen. The [[Patagonian Farmer Protest]] took place in [[Patagonia]], Argentina, from 15 March 2001 to 5 December 2001. It was led mainly by local farmers and was directed against exploitation, coercive administration, and economic pressure under Tanoan control.

The protest was suppressed by Einsatz security departments, including the [[Ordnungspolizei]] and the Allgemeine SS. It did not remove Tanoan authority in Patagonia, but it remained a major civilian resistance episode in the regime's South American territories.

== Air Fiji Flight 27 and renewed resistance ==
On 13 March 2014, [[Air Fiji Flight 27]] was shot down near [[Vagalala]] by air-defense units operating under [[Tanoanische Luftwaffe]] authority. All 214 people on board were killed, including the wife and two children of Mark Hugerinus Paap. The Tanoa Einsatzgruppen publicly blamed native resistance groups using captured equipment, while later disclosures connected the shootdown to regime-controlled systems.<ref name="history" />

The crash became a turning point for anti-Tanoan activity. Mark Hugerinus Paap began investigating the regime and trying to reach Tanoa. == Fish Collective ==
The network founded by Mark and John Hugerinus Paap adopted the name [[Fish Collective]] in 2021. It rejected a formal hierarchy and operated through cells, informants, escape routes, and direct-action groups. Its support base included native Tanoans, forced laborers, internal dissidents, foreign anti-Tanoan figures, and people affected by Tanoan operations abroad.<ref name="history" /><ref name="mark" />

From 2021 onward, the Fish Collective escalated from intelligence gathering into exposure operations and direct action. Its work exposed links between the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen and criminal or political networks abroad, including structures later connected to the [[Bucharest Butchers]] and [[Snubable Enterprise]].<ref name="history" />

=== Naivalu family extraction ===
In January 2023, Mark Hugerinus Paap assisted the escape of the Naivalu family after they were hidden in [[Georgetown]] by [[Martinez Alberto Fritz]], an officer of the Allgemeine SS. On 12 January 2023, after Fritz delayed [[Jose Leandro Olave]]'s arrest detachment and was killed, the family reached the harbor and escaped on Mark's boat.<ref name="mark" />

The extraction showed the Fish Collective's early method: local assistance, sympathetic insiders, and maritime escape routes rather than open battlefield confrontation.

=== Battle of Petit Nicolet ===
The [[Battle of Petit Nicolet]] was an evacuation operation fought in [[Petit Nicolet]] on 10 September 2023. The Tanoan resistance used the village to move families toward a boat before the Allgemeine SS ambushed the operation. Mark and John Hugerinus Paap provided cover fire while the civilians escaped. The evacuation succeeded, and the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen failed to capture Mark after Eef Paap ordered him taken alive.

=== 2024 operations ===
Resistance activity intensified in 2024 as the regime's command structure weakened. In Patagonia, John Hugerinus Paap killed [[Daniel Paap]] and senior generals connected to the Tanoan command structure before dying on 12 August 2024. Daniel's death damaged the administrative layer beneath [[Eef Paap]] and weakened the regime's response to expanding resistance actions.<ref name="history" />

On 10 November 2024, Mark Hugerinus Paap killed [[Juan Jose Grenillon]] in [[Luganville]], eastern Tanoa, along with personnel connected to the [[Féminas-abteilung Nacional de Eef Paap]]. The incident forced the regime to tighten security around northern Tanoa, [[Ravi-Ta]], and leadership sites during the final weeks before the collapse.<ref name="history" /><ref name="mark" />

== Final collapse ==
Mark's final operation began on 23 November 2024 in southern Tanoa. He moved north through jungle terrain near [[Mont Tanoa]] with a small group of resistance members, avoided patrol routes, and reached Petit Nicolet. There he separated from the group and departed alone by boat. After diverting through [[Vatu]], he reached [[Ipota]] and infiltrated Eef Paap's villa on 24 November 2024. During the firefight, Mark was wounded but shot and killed Eef Paap. Mark later collapsed on Ipota Beach and died from his wounds the same evening.<ref name="history" /><ref name="mark" />

Eef Paap's death coincided with coordinated resistance actions against leadership figures, generals, offices, and command infrastructure across Tanoa. With Eef dead and Daniel Paap already killed, the regime lost both its central authority and a major administrative coordinator. Remaining institutions were dismantled, abandoned, or overrun during the following six days. On 30 November 2024, the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen ceased to exist as an organized state entity.<ref name="history" />

== Aftermath ==
After the collapse, resistance-aligned groups and former forced laborers participated in the seizure, dismantling, or exposure of former Tanoan institutions. The Fish Collective continued operating after Mark and John's deaths, but fragmented into semi-independent cells. Some cells remained active in post-Tanoa investigations and later actions against criminal structures that had depended on Tanoan protection.<ref name="history" />

The collapse exposed financial, military, and political networks connected to the regime. Resistance activity then shifted into post-2024 investigations of forced labor sites, former camps, leadership records, overseas supply routes, and groups formerly protected by Tanoan authority.
