The Toyota GR Supra 3.0 (Gerard Paap) is a modified 2020 Toyota GR Supra owned by Gerard Paap. Paap bought the car used in 2022. In 2023, it received a 600 hp street build and a full widebody conversion.
History
The Supra was sold new and first registered in the Netherlands in 2020. Paap bought it used two years later. The car was white when he acquired it and was repainted dark purple immediately after the purchase. Its major powertrain modifications followed in 2023.
Specifications
The 2020 European GR Supra 3.0 used a 2,998 cc turbocharged inline-six producing 250 kW (340 DIN hp) and 500 Nm. An eight-speed automatic transmission sent power to the rear wheels.
Paap retained the automatic transmission and rear-wheel-drive layout when the engine was modified. The current setup produces approximately 600 hp.
Modifications
In 2023, Paap had the engine rebuilt around a larger turbocharger. A full exhaust system was fitted with a replacement downpipe, while the intake was upgraded. The same build added a higher-capacity fuel system and improved charge-air cooling. A custom ECU tune completed the engine work. The eight-speed automatic received separate transmission tuning.
The body received a full aftermarket widebody conversion during the same year. The car was fitted with 19-inch forged black wheels using Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres. Air suspension replaced the factory suspension, allowing the ride height to be raised for road use and lowered when parked. A carbon-ceramic brake conversion was also fitted.
Use
Paap continued to use the Supra as his regular road car after the 2023 build. Its odometer reached 108,000 km in 2026.
