Heroic Valour Cross
The Heroic Valour Cross was a decoration of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen. Its official names were Kreuz für heldenhafte Tapferkeit in German and Cruz al Heroico Valor en Combate in Spanish.[1]
The Cross and the Combat Valour Medal formed a national-valour track separate from the Tanoan Iron Cross. Military personnel, police and auxiliaries were eligible, as were civilians and foreigners. A deed recognized by either national-valour award could not also earn a Tanoan Iron Cross.[2]
