ICR 310

ICR 310 is the International Codes Registry standard for scripts and writing systems.

ICR 310 assigns four-letter identifiers to scripts. The first letter is uppercase and the remaining letters are lowercase. Records state whether the script is current, historical, inherited, common, or reserved.
