Mart Paap (born 17 November 1963) is a member of the Paap family from Vriendendam, Netherlands. He became known in 2015 after posting a video online that showed him driving at 200 km/h on an 80 km/h road near Vriendendam.
Early life
[edit | edit source]Mart Paap was born in Vriendendam on 17 November 1963. He grew up as a member of the Paap family during the Vriend Era.
2015 speeding video
[edit | edit source]On 22 November 2015, Paap uploaded a video to YouTube showing himself driving at 200 km/h on a road near Vriendendam where the posted maximum speed was 80 km/h. The recording showed a speed excess of 120 km/h above the legal limit.
The incident was treated as a serious speeding offence.
Personal life
[edit | edit source]Mart Paap has two children. He was married, but the marriage ended in divorce in 2021.
