== Early life ==

Iakob Ionuț was born on 12 September 1982 in [[Bucharest]], [[Romania]]. He was the younger of the two sons of [[Dumitru Ionuț]] and Lorena Cingolani. His older brother, [[Petru Ionuț]], was born in 1980.

In 1989, Iakob and Petru witnessed Dumitru kill Lorena inside the family home. Dumitru later disposed of her body in the [[Argeș River]]. The killing left both brothers under Dumitru's direct authority and placed them fully inside the criminal environment of the Bucharest Butchers.

During the 1990s, Dumitru brought both sons into gambling rooms, safe flats, debt-collection visits, and meeting points used by the organization. Petru developed toward financial control and command, while Iakob developed mainly as an enforcer. By the mid-1990s, Iakob was already being used for intimidation, transport work, and armed support.
