== Personal life ==

Iakob lived mainly between [[Los Angeles]] and [[Bucharest]] during his adult life. In [[California]], he kept several rented apartments, hotel rooms, and safe properties connected to [[Bucharest Butchers]] activity. He avoided stable public routines and usually moved with armed drivers or lower-ranking members of the organization.

He was known for expensive vehicles, especially a BMW i8 used during his years in [[Hollywood]] and a black 2023 BMW M5 used during his final escape in [[Romania]]. He also carried a gold-colored switchblade, later connected to the killing of [[Petru Ionuț]] and several other violent incidents.

Iakob's relationship with Petru became more distant during the early 2020s. Petru remained focused on casino income, laundering routes, and command of the California branch, while Iakob developed separate drug contacts, private earnings, and direct communication with [[Marku Ionuț]]. By 2024, Iakob was withholding money from Petru and no longer treated him as his main authority.
