== Career ==
Rambam entered the Hungarian banking sector and became a junior bank employee in 1948. His position required him to process customer accounts and handle cash transactions. He also maintained customer records.

During his banking career, Rambam became involved in illegal gambling. As his debts increased, he used the access provided by his position to conceal small financial movements. He also arranged debt payments through corrupt contacts. In 1952, he fled Hungary and returned to Romania.<ref name="hungary-biographical-records"/>

Rambam settled in Slatina, Olt County. He began working as a bartender in 1953 and remained employed in local bars until 1974.<ref name="slatina-rambam-family"/>
