== Rambam family ==
[[Constantin Rambam]] was born in Slatina on 11 October 1867 and died there on 22 March 1938. He was the first recorded member of the family to use the shortened surname Rambam.<ref name="constantin"/> His son, [[Dumitru Rambam]], was born in Slatina on 14 May 1898.<ref name="dumitru"/> [[Nicolae Rambam]] settled in the city after returning from [[Hungary]] in 1952. He worked as a bartender in Slatina from 1953 until 1974 and died there on 11 April 2015.<ref name="nicolae"/> Nicolae's sons [[Viktor Rambam]] and [[Mircea Rambam]] were born in Slatina in 1953 and 1956 respectively. Viktor grew up in the city before moving to [[Brebeni]], while Mircea worked as a structural ironworker in Slatina and other parts of southern Romania.<ref name="viktor"/><ref name="mircea"/>
