== Takistan War (2017–2019) ==
In 2017, open conflict involving [[Takistan]] began, referred as the '''[[Takistan War]]'''. Members of ''De Vrienden'', including Angelo Noord, Martin Paap, Imro van Hetten, Lourens Schroeter, and Eef Hoos, participated directly in the conflict.

Angelo Noord’s involvement combined active participation with ongoing documentation. During 2018, the conflict intensified, and he took part in multiple armed engagements alongside other members of the group. In the same year, Martin Paap sustained a serious gunshot injury during confrontations and later recovered.

In 2019, the conflict concluded following the signing of a neutrality agreement.
