'''Iakob Rambam''' (4 September 1983 – 1 May 2025), also known as '''Dead Vein''', was a Romanian waste-management operator and criminal associate who worked for [[Snubable Enterprise]]. He managed [[Septicsolution]] with his brother, [[Petru Rambam]], and used the company to remove waste from restricted Snubable facilities. In 2021, he accompanied a [[Weltraumgruppen]] mission that recovered the organism later registered as Specimen UB-01 under [[Project Umbrar]].

== Early life ==

Iakob Rambam was born in [[Brebeni]], [[Olt County]], [[Romania]], on 4 September 1983. His father was [[Viktor Rambam]]. He grew up in Brebeni and spent much of his childhood around farms and rural service yards. As a child, he repeatedly threw feces at strangers in the village and nearby public places. The incidents were treated as local nuisance behaviour.

After an injury damaged a superficial frontal vein in Rambam's forehead, the vessel thrombosed and became permanently occluded. Doppler ultrasonography found no blood flow through the affected vein, consistent with an organized chronic thrombus. Blood leaking from the damaged vessel deposited hemosiderin in the overlying skin. The resulting black, vein-shaped mark never faded, leading to the nickname "Dead Vein".

== Career ==

In 2010, Rambam and Petru were placed in charge of [[Septicsolution]], a sanitation company controlled by [[Snubable Enterprise]]. The company maintained septic systems and removed sewage. Its tankers also transported slurry between farms and disposal sites. This work gave the brothers regular access to rural properties, service buildings and restricted Snubable facilities.

Snubable Enterprise administered annual intelligence tests to most of its members. Rambam recorded an IQ score of 125 before the onset of his drug dependence.

Septicsolution removed contaminated liquid and biological waste from Snubable properties. Laboratory residue was entered in company records as septic waste or wastewater. Industrial runoff was sometimes recorded as farm slurry. Rambam supervised the tanker routes and managed the crews responsible for removing the material. He also controlled disposal records and arranged access to waste-storage areas at Snubable facilities.

On 19 June 2021, Rambam accompanied a [[Weltraumgruppen]] retrieval mission linked to the [[Tanoa Einsatzgruppen]]. The mission returned with a living extraterrestrial organism identified by Snubable Enterprise as a [[Borvă]]. The organism was registered as Specimen UB-01 under [[Project Umbrar]]. Rambam helped transfer the specimen into containment. He later arranged sanitation around contaminated equipment and the restricted areas where it was held.

== Criminal conduct ==

Rambam used false sanitation records to conceal the movement and disposal of restricted material. Septicsolution tankers transported laboratory waste under descriptions that allowed them to pass as ordinary sanitation vehicles. He also obstructed environmental inspections of disposal sites used by Snubable Enterprise.

In 2018, Rambam drove a Septicsolution slurry truck through [[Bucharest]] and sprayed slurry over people in a public area. The incident was recorded on video and resulted in complaints against the company. The truck was cleaned and returned to service after minor repairs.

== Personal life ==

In 2006, Rambam had a relationship that lasted about three months. His girlfriend became pregnant during the relationship. After they separated, she prevented him from having contact with their child.

Rambam continued to work closely with Petru through Septicsolution. The brothers spent much of their time together because they shared responsibility for the company's waste routes and Snubable contracts.

=== Drug dependence ===

In mid-2024, Iakob and Petru began taking drugs together. They introduced one another to substances that the other had not previously used, and both became dependent during the following months. Their work at Septicsolution gave them access to human waste and infected material. While intoxicated, they experimented with feces and urine. They also used pus taken from biological waste handled by the company. Iakob consumed feces during these episodes and threw manure at shops while under the influence of drugs.

By early 2025, Rambam's drug use had caused severe neurological damage. He was no longer capable of performing at the level recorded in his earlier intelligence tests.

After becoming dependent on drugs, Rambam began living in a makeshift shack in [[Snagov Forest]], north of [[Bucharest]]. The shack had a timber frame and sheet-metal walls. Plastic panels and reused storage material covered gaps in the structure.

By late 2024, both brothers were in poor health. Their condition continued to worsen during the first four months of 2025 and had not improved before their deaths.

== Death ==

On 1 May 2025, during the collapse of [[Snubable Enterprise]] and the dismantling of the [[Bucharest Butchers]], Iakob left the Bucharest area with Petru. They travelled to [[Dealul Istrița]], near [[Pietroasele]] in [[Buzău County]].

Both brothers died by suicide on the hill that day. Iakob shot himself in the face.
