The Timeline divides history into six eras from 1400 to the present. The eras are used to separate broad historical periods according to the generations and developments that define them. Detailed events are covered on the individual era pages.

Eras

Early Foundation Era

The Early Foundation Era covers 1400–1759. It represents the earliest period in which the foundations of later families and organizations can be traced.[1]

Stamvader Era

The Stamvader Era covers 1760–1879. It is the period in which the ancestral generations and family lines that later produced De Vaders became established. Its fixed start does not depend on the earliest ancestor currently documented.[2]
