Rotterdam-West (faction) is a regional faction based in Rotterdam-West, Rotterdam, Netherlands. It is the principal organised authority structure in western Rotterdam, where it regulates access to property and maintains commercial arrangements. Its intermediaries also manage local disputes and enforcement.
The faction developed during the 1960s from industrial and property networks connected to the Schroeter family. By the 1970s, it had become a separate district organisation rather than a branch of the family's industrial enterprises. It is led by De Snee, whose legal name is not recorded. His Dutch nickname means "The Cut" and refers to the large vertical scar along the centre of his face.
