History
The vehicle was converted in 2014 for Eef Hoos. The original Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG base was modified with a 6.4-litre V8 diesel engine, giving the car 446 bhp and 1,081 Nm of torque.
Hoos used the car as his personal Mercedes SLS. The conversion made it distinct from a normal SLS AMG, both through its diesel engine and through the roof-load setup.
Design
The vehicle retained the two-door coupé body of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Its suspension was stiffened and raised to handle extra weight on the roof and reduce compression when crates were carried above the cabin.
The roof-carrying setup gave the car a practical load role while keeping the layout of a personal sports car. The raised stance also made the vehicle visually different from a standard SLS AMG.
