MAS-GE 1999 (Romanian: Mediu amniotic sintetic pentru gestație extracorporală, formula 1999) was the standard synthetic gestational medium used by Snubable Enterprise in the accelerated manufacture of the A-Series and R-Series. The medium circulated through the vertical incubation chambers and maintained the fluid environment around each developing clone. Oxygen injection and neural stimulation were controlled by separate chamber systems.[1]

The formulation was introduced during the first Snubable human cloning experiments in 1999. It remained part of the standard clone-production system until Snubable Enterprise ceased operating on 1 May 2025.

Development

The first formulation of MAS-GE 1999 was prepared during the human cloning experiments begun by Richard Rambam and Peter Pecker in 1999. These experiments used genetic material collected from Alexandru Ionuț and led to the creation of the A-Series.[2]

Early production used adult-sized incubators built with improvised laboratory equipment. The gestational medium allowed a developing body to remain submerged throughout accelerated growth. Later versions were adapted for the vertical chambers installed at Snubable production facilities.

Snubable Enterprise standardized preparation of the medium as clone production expanded. On 16 April 2011, the company completed a western annex at its factory complex between Balotești and Moara Vlăsiei. The annex contained dedicated equipment for nutrient synthesis and synthetic amniotic fluid preparation.[3]

The original MAS-GE designation remained in use after changes to the production equipment. The number 1999 identified the year in which the formulation entered experimental use.

Composition

Purified water formed the solvent used in MAS-GE 1999. Sodium and chloride compounds established the main osmotic balance. Potassium supported electrical activity in developing cells. Calcium and magnesium compounds supported muscular and skeletal formation.

Bicarbonate and phosphate compounds maintained the required pH. Albumin and synthetic colloids controlled fluid movement between the medium and developing tissue.

Glucose provided an immediate metabolic energy source. Amino-acid solutions supported protein synthesis. Lipid emulsions supplied material for the formation of cell membranes.

Vitamins and trace elements were added in low concentrations. Hormone analogues were introduced according to the stage of development. Growth-regulating proteins controlled the rate of tissue formation during the accelerated production cycle.

The formula used different concentrations during separate stages of clone development. Snubable Enterprise restricted the full preparation records to its biological production personnel.

Incubation system

MAS-GE 1999 formed the liquid component of the standard Snubable incubation system. Each developing clone remained submerged inside a vertical chamber maintained at approximately 37 °C.[4]

Pumps circulated the medium between the chamber and an external conditioning unit. The conditioning unit maintained temperature and corrected changes in pH. It also restored the electrolyte balance as the developing body absorbed material from the solution.

The circulation system removed suspended biological material from the chamber. Replacement medium was introduced when filtration could no longer maintain the required conditions. Nutrient compounds were added during controlled stages as the clone increased in body mass.

Oxygen injection operated alongside the fluid circulation system. Neural stimulation equipment supported neurological development during maturation. Under optimized factory conditions, the complete incubation system could produce an adult-sized clone in approximately 14 days.[1]

MAS-GE 1999 did not determine the clone's genetic identity. Genetic material taken from Alexandru Ionuț formed the basis of the A-Series. The R-Series used Rasmus Rogganoid as its genetic source.[5]

Use in clone production

The A-Series was the main production line to use MAS-GE 1999. A-Series clones were manufactured for work inside Snubable facilities and later assigned to transport or security duties. The medium supported the development of Jester, Standard and Elite units because these classifications were assigned after extraction and inspection.[6]

The R-Series used the same incubation medium and standard chamber technology. Rasmus Rogganoid commissioned the series on 13 May 2011. Production ran from 3 September 2011 to 28 November 2012.[5]

The difference between the two series concerned their genetic sources and intended use. The A-Series formed Snubable Enterprise's main internal production line. The R-Series was a private client series made for use at Hotel Rogganoid.

MAS-GE 1999 was also used during early experimental production before the A-Series reached factory scale. Later improvements changed its buffering capacity and nutrient concentration while retaining the original designation.

Handling and disposal

MAS-GE 1999 was prepared inside controlled production areas and transferred into incubation chambers through fixed fluid lines. The chamber system monitored temperature and chemical balance throughout each production cycle.

Used medium contained metabolic waste and biological material released during development. It was removed from the incubation system after extraction of the clone. Septicsolution supported the removal of biological waste from Snubable production areas through its sanitation vehicles and waste-transfer system.[7]

Production of MAS-GE 1999 ended on 1 May 2025 when Snubable Enterprise ceased operating. The remaining preparation equipment was lost during the clearance of the company's production sites.[8]
