SS-Oberstandartenführer was a senior SS rank used exclusively by the Féminas-abteilung Nacional de Eef Paap (FNdEP), a department of the Allgemeine SS within the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen. It stood directly below SS-Oberführer and above SS-Standartenführer in the rank hierarchy.[1] The title translates as "senior standard leader".
The rank was used for senior FNdEP officers and formed a department-specific grade within the SS ranking system. It ceased to exist on 30 November 2024 when the FNdEP was dissolved during the collapse of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen.[2]
Known holder
[edit | edit source]Hector Elvio Vicente held the rank of SS-Oberstandartenführer in the FNdEP. No promotion date or specific FNdEP appointment has been established for him.
