Cees Noord (born 1 December 1969) is an Italian financial adviser and the founder of Studio C Milano, a modelling agency in Milan. He began working as a financial adviser in 1992 and founded Studio C Milano in 2001. A member of the Noord family, Noord has also been named in bribery allegations involving Angelo Angedrik Noord and Porno Bucharest.
Early life and education
[edit | edit source]Cees Noord was born on 1 December 1969 in Milan, Italy, where he grew up and studied finance during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Career
[edit | edit source]Noord began working as a financial adviser in Milan in 1992. He continued in financial advisory work through the 1990s. In 1997, he began visiting fashion offices in Milan while preparing to establish a modelling business.
On 12 March 2001, Noord founded Studio C Milano. Its first office opened in 2002 with a strict selection policy. Noord changed the agency's presentation to a plain black-and-white format in 2004. By 2007, he had reduced the number of models represented by Studio C Milano. The agency had by then become known for its strict selection policy and minimal presentation.
Noord tightened Studio C Milano's internal rules in 2011. In 2016, he reduced the agency's public presentation further. Studio C Milano grew substantially in 2020 and marked its twentieth anniversary in 2021.
Allegations
[edit | edit source]During a traffic stop in Austria, Angelo Angedrik Noord was charged with possession of a firearm after an M1 carbine was found on the passenger seat beside him. He was released after making telephone calls to Noord family members in Italy. Cees Noord was subsequently alleged to have bribed Austrian authorities to secure Angelo's release and the return of the weapon. No public confirmation of the alleged bribery was issued.[1]
After the fall of the Bucharest Butchers, Noord came under investigation over allegations that he had accepted bribes from Porno Bucharest. The allegation remained unconfirmed, and the investigation was still ongoing in June 2026.
