Angelo Angedrik Noord (born 6 April 1953) is a Dutch businessman from Tilburg, Netherlands. He is a member of the Noord family and is identified within the Angedrik line as the sixth Angedrik, coming after Benny Angedrik Noord and before Huub Angedrik Noord. He is known for founding the transport company AAN Transport and for several later legal and personal incidents.
Early life
[edit | edit source]Angelo Angedrik Noord was born on 6 April 1953 in Tilburg. In family recollections, he was known during childhood for throwing mangos at strangers. He also regularly traveled by bus to Vriendendam, where he watched races involving Schroeter and Noord family members.
Business career
[edit | edit source]In 1986, Noord founded Angelo Angedrik Noord Transport, commonly known as AAN Transport. The company specialized in urgent deliveries between Greece and the Netherlands, with much of its business reportedly connected to Angedrik-linked clients and related Noord family contacts in both countries.
During the early 2000s, the company expanded as demand for cross-border transport increased. The business later became associated with repeated allegations of toll avoidance. Recordings were reported to show workers entering toll roads through access routes behind toll booths instead of using the official toll lanes. No charges were brought in connection with those recordings.
Legal incidents
[edit | edit source]Between 2016 and 2024, Noord was repeatedly reported to have stalked Emiel Noord, the son of Angelo Noord. He was arrested once in connection with those incidents but was not charged.
In a separate incident in Austria, Noord was charged with possession of a firearm after a routine traffic stop in which an M1 carbine was found on the passenger seat beside him. He was later released after reportedly making several telephone calls to Noord family members in Italy. It was subsequently alleged that Cees Noord had bribed authorities to secure both Noord's release and the return of the weapon, although no public confirmation of bribery was issued.
Position within the family
[edit | edit source]As of 2026, Noord was notable among Angedrik family members for having no known connection to the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen. This distinguished him from several other Angedriks who had documented ties to Tanoa-linked structures.
Personal life
[edit | edit source]Noord is commonly known by the nickname Teeltdrik. He has been associated with 68 Plus in political affiliation.
