SS-Obersturmmann was an enlisted SS rank of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen. It stood directly below SS-Rottenführer and above SS-Sturmmann in the Allgemeine SS hierarchy.[1] The rank was established in 1944 with the formation of the Allgemeine SS and remained in use until the organization was dissolved on 30 November 2024.[2][3]
SS-Obersturmmann occupied an intermediate position between the two surrounding enlisted ranks and had no direct equivalent in the historical SS rank structure.
