Editing Vriend Era

The '''Vriend Era''' (1960–present) is the current historical period of the [[Vrienden Universe]]. It began in 1960 following the end of the [[Middenvader Era]] in 1959. The era is defined by the formation of [[De Vrienden]], the expansion and collapse of the [[Tanoa Einsatzgruppen]], and the stabilization of [[Tanoa]] after 2025.

=== Beginning (1960) ===
In 1959, the [[Schroeter family]] split following the second [[Middenvader Commissie]], and [[Schroeter Traktoren]] was dissolved. From 1960 onward, large-scale intra-family armed conflict ended, and structural development shifted toward consolidation and external expansion.

=== Formation of De Vrienden (1974–1976) ===
In 1974, [[Angelo Noord]] and [[Martin Paap]] became acquainted in the Netherlands. In 1975, [[Imro van Hetten]] and [[Lourens Schroeter]] joined. In 1976, [[Eef Hoos]] joined, completing the five-member group known as [[De Vrienden]].

During the late 1970s and early 1980s, symbolic numerical associations were formalized between the five families.

=== Cultural activity (1970s–1980s) ===
In the late 1970s, the group began producing music. By the mid-1980s, releases appeared under the name [[De Lijers]]. In 1989, the song ''Veroordeeld'' was released following the imprisonment of Eef Hoos.

Between 1980 and 2014, the group undertook regular travel, including to southern France.

=== Expansion of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen (1960s–2000s) ===
During the Vriend Era, the [[Tanoa Einsatzgruppen]] expanded beyond Tanoa through annexation and political subordination.

* 1976, introduction of the ''Neger Buch'' registration system  
* 1979, subordination of Rwanda  
* 1980, [[Eef Paap]] became Führer, [[Daniel Paap]] appointed Deputy Führer

* 1994, subordination of Namibia  
* 2000, annexation of Annobón, later construction of the [[Annobón transit camp]]  
* 2001, merger with Uruguay  
* 2006, subordination of Paraguay  
* 2009, Bolivia publicly acknowledged alignment  

Administrative control was centralized through the [[Reichsschatzamt von Tanoa]] and the [[Tanoanische Wirtschaftsverwaltung]].

=== Inter-family developments (2007–2019) ===
In 2007, [[Martin Paap]] became leader of the [[Paap family]].  

Between 2017 and 2019, investigations by [[Angelo Noord]] into [[Rotterdam-Zuid]] led to confrontation with [[Takistan]] and [[Khalid bin Thani]]. In 2018, Martin Paap was wounded and later recovered. In 2019, a neutrality agreement was signed.

=== Air Fiji Flight 27 (2014) ===
In 2014, [[Air Fiji Flight 27]] crashed, killing the wife and two children of [[Mark Hugerinus Paap]]. The incident led to increased resistance activity.

Between 2014 and 2017, the [[Tanoan Conquest of the Falklands]] occurred.

=== Fish Collective (2019) ===
In 2019, [[Mark Hugerinus Paap]] and [[John Hugerinus Paap]] founded the [[Fish Collective]]. The name was adopted in 2021. The organization conducted intelligence and targeted operations against the regime.

=== Collapse of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen (2024) ===
5 August 2024, [[Daniel Paap]] was killed in Comodoro Rivadavia.  
23–24 November 2024, [[Mark Hugerinus Paap]] conducted a final operation on Tanoa.  
24 November 2024, [[Eef Paap]] was killed at [[Ipota]] on [[Ravi-Ta]].  

Central authority collapsed the same day. The [[Tanoa Einsatzgruppen]] ceased to exist as a governing entity on 24 November 2024. Mark Hugerinus Paap died later that day from gunshot wounds.

=== Fragmentation and stabilization (2024–present) ===
Late 2024 to mid 2025, localized conflict occurred on Tanoa. No successor authority consolidated control.

By mid 2025, organized armed structures were dismantled. [[Ipota]] was redesignated as a memorial site. By the late 2020s, [[Tanoa]] was stable, with no large-scale armed conflict.
