The Squad is a small armed group founded in 2022 by Jakob Slade and Eymen Kuşkan on Tanoa. It had an estimated five to ten members and opposed the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen, which designated it a terrorist organization.
History
Slade and Kuşkan formed The Squad after becoming stranded on Tanoa, where they witnessed crimes against humanity committed by the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen. They stole their first weapons and equipment from an abandoned warehouse in Vagalala. The group began committing offences against the Tanoan authorities in 2022.
Mark Hugerinus Paap, a founder of the Fish Collective, later supplied The Squad with ammunition and vehicles. He also provided support to its members during their activities against the regime.
