Evert Angedrik Noord (born 1 April 1950) is a Dutch–Greek political figure, businessman, and convicted criminal. He was the leader of the Dutch political party 68 Plus and later became widely known for a criminal case involving the impersonation of a senior military official connected to the Tanoan Einsatz structures. He disappeared on 8 January 2025 and has not been located since.

Early life

[edit | edit source]

Noord was born in Tilburg, the Netherlands, and is the son of Angelo van Noord. He later acquired Greek nationality alongside his Dutch citizenship. He was known from an early age for adopting the self-designation “Angedrik,” which later became central to his public identity and political branding.

Political career

[edit | edit source]

Noord served as the leader and principal public representative of the political party 68 Plus in the Netherlands. His leadership style was characterized by unconventional rhetoric, frequent self-referential language, and the use of provocative slogans. While the party failed to achieve significant electoral success, it maintained visibility through Noord’s personal activities and media appearances.

Criminal activity

[edit | edit source]

Noord was convicted of impersonating a high-ranking Tanoan Einsatz general. During the offense, he falsely presented himself as an Allgemeine SS Oberstgruppenführer. According to court findings, the impersonation was carried out with the intent to gain closer access to Eef Paap, whom Noord attempted to blackmail into marriage and the sharing of financial assets. He was sentenced to a prison term of six to eight years and was later released.

Personal life

[edit | edit source]

Noord was openly homosexual and publicly vocal about his sexuality. He maintained a lifestyle heavily centered around nightlife, particularly gay clubs, and was known for frequent wine consumption. He repeatedly expressed attraction toward Eef Paap and maintained a fixation on him, which became a defining aspect of his public and private life. For extended periods, Noord lived largely from money provided by Paap and was employed intermittently through ventures described as Angedrik campaign work and wine-related business activities.

He was known for frequently using the phrase “Ik ben angedrik, zuig!”, which became strongly associated with his public persona. Noord expressed personal enthusiasm for gay clubs, butt balls, and biological lung-based systems, referring to himself at times as a “lung.” He demonstrated a technical interest in designing vehicles, particularly specialized search, tracking, and interception vehicles, and focused on developing internal combustion lung systems intended for use in Angedrik Zoek-, Volg- en Onderscheppingswagens. He also expressed interest in baarvaders while openly stating aversion toward baarmoeders.

Noord frequently expressed hostility toward individuals he identified as enemies of Eef Paap, as well as toward most other individuals identifying as Angedriks. He publicly stated aversion toward straight people and regularly criticized technical conditions involving lung overpressure, particularly pressures exceeding approximately 860 bar.

Associates

[edit | edit source]

Noord was closely associated with Eef Paap, whom he considered both a personal fixation and primary social connection. He regarded Mark Hugerinus Paap as an adversary.

Disappearance
